Who I Work With
In a nutshell, I work with people who are committed to making a change in their work life. People who want to do the hard work necessary for self-improvement. People who find themselves at life or career junctions and who need objective insights from an unbiased, non-judgmental party, who are willing to ask themselves the hard questions about their careers, and who are willing to take action based on those answers.
I work with people who are committed and open minded. I coach a wide variety of people from new graduates just starting out to highly experienced people with decades of work experience behind them.

In my career coaching practice, I primarily work with people in the fields of Human Resources and Real Estate, along with new graduates in any field. But my practice includes people in all fields and at all career levels. If I do not feel qualified to assist you, I will gladly provide you with recommendations to other coaches better equipped to meet your needs.

I work in many ways, depending on what the client needs. This ranges from redoing a more focused, impactful resume, to interview coaching, to the full spectrum of career coaching, including the use of career assessment tools, to professional and small business coaching.
I work with clients one step at a time. There is often the need for reflection as we go through these processes. Like many things in life, there are multiple ways to achieve goals and outcomes, so if one way is not working, we switch paths and do something different. By the same token, goals without timetables and action plans are just dreams.
The client owns the process. By working together, having an open mind, and exploring the ideas above, we achieve results like:

The Process
In order to build a strong personal brand and to help you achieve and exceed your goals, we will work together through self-examination, assessments, and exercises that help us uncover your true beliefs, values, motivators, and cultural fit dynamics. We may also solicit feedback from people close to you. These activities will help you to focus your personal brand, align it with your values, vision, purpose, and passions. You are the primary partner in this journey — My role is help facilitate your self-discovery, provide guidance where necessary, and help you become the best that you can be.
Once you have this laser-like focus, your message to the world, as reflected in your brand, in your passion, and in your values will be readily apparent to the world. In a confident way. In a value-added way.
Assessments
Trustworthy Coaching® uses a variety of standardized assessments, where appropriate, to help facilitate the coaching process. Many of these assessments can be used for reasons beyond career coaching for such things as team building, cultural/organizational fit, sales styles, and the like. In addition to a number of proprietary exercises and assessments, based on the Authentic Vocation® and Quantum Shift® methodologies, Trustworthy Coaching® includes in its repertoire of assessments for all of its service the following standardized assessments:
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)® - Strong Interest Inventory®
- SkillScan™
- Extended DiSC®
- Career Anchors
- Values Driven Work™
- Birkman®
It is most often the case that all of these assessments are not necessary. These assessments may be used if their use is warranted by the situation.
Here’s What We Do
- You provide me with some background information
- I determine if assessments or other exercises are necessary
- We schedule any assessments and exercises for you to do online
- We set up a weekly schedule of telephone meetings (Email support is provided between telephone meetings)
- We use the results of any assessments and exercises, as well as information from our meetings to begin to put together a plan of action, including branding, a personal branding statement, marketing, and other career resources.
- We work on your cover letter(s), resume(s), personal websites, and social media/networking profiles (e.g.: Linkedin.com, Plaxo, etc.)
- Sessions last as long as you feel them helpful – in some cases, they last for only a few months, in other cases, for years.
